Peter F Doyle

Born into an Irish working-class immigrant family, Peter F Doyle has lived in London all his life, except for two short periods, a year in Norwich when he was fourteen, and a year in Rome, when he was a lot older. As a teenager and in his early twenties he worked as a merchant seaman, a milkman, a factory worker and a builder’s labourer. Since then he has been a teacher, a headteacher, and an educational consultant, primarily involved in the education of children and young people with very challenging behavioural and psychological difficulties.

Peter writes thrillers, novels and poetry that reflect his own experiences – of life, love, work, and family relationships – sometimes in a very direct and personal way, sometimes more obliquely……
